What It Takes to Become a Water Smart Plumber

- Completing at least six hours of SNWA water-efficiency training plus two hours of annual refresher training
- Remaining in good standing with the Nevada State Contractors Board without disciplinary actions during the previous five years
- Maintaining Nevada licensing and insurance for at least five years
- Performing contracted work in accordance with applicable laws, codes and permit requirements
- Providing a one-year warranty on work performed and respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours
- Providing written, hourly-rate bids and avoid upselling beyond the service requested in the initial inquiry
